What's Your Most Embarassing Moment?

May 11, 2008 / by joerff

I've been around for a long time to be embarassed often.

But I bet you can't top this.In the 50's I loved to dance and went to many places in Philly to meet girls and Rock and Roll.I was 15  -  16 yrs old and found that to be a great combination.Girls/dancing

I must admit-I could keep a good beat.I went to the local library Sunday to find a particular book.Several hundred people showed up to listen to a Rock and Roll group from South Philly sing 50's  -  60's tunes.Everyone just sat and clapped, but I couldn't sit still.

I saw two ladies(at my age you don't call a female girl)dancing. That's right-I asked the one who was moving with a good beat to dance.I thought I was 16 again. The beat was fast and it was a long time bouncing around like that.

Here it comes-I lost my balance and fell on my a-- in front of two hundred people. But like in sports - I was doing great and having fun for three minutes but if someone in that crowd sees me - they will only remember - "There's that guy that fell on his a--"But life's fun when you take chances-I'd do it again, but next time I would move a little slower.

Isn't life great. You should take chances in life in order to have fun.Who is the fool? The one who might make a fool of themselves or the person who never tries anything?
